Cruel Sun is a project that went through multiple revisions and designs. From a simple illustration to a grand label. Wanting to stick with the origin of hot sauce, I took inspiration from the Aztec Era in Central America and Mexico. It started off with trying to keep the designs and detail as true to that era as much as I could, even by making the primary part of the logo The Aztec Sun Stone (Piedra del Sol). The colors of the bottle vary based on the spice level.
